Algoma Public Health (APH) is investigating potential exposure to COVID-19 within the Korah college and vocational school community.

At present, APH is conducting a careful investigation to identify close contacts. Examples of close contact include household members, people who have been in direct physical contact or belong to the same class / cohort, and people who have spent more than 15 minutes together within 2 meters or 6 feet of each other. from others, for example by sharing a meal.

Brief interactions, such as walking past someone in a hallway, are generally not considered close contact situations.

If the investigation identifies a confirmed case in context, APH will notify all low-risk and high-risk close contacts via email to provide further guidance and guidance.
