According to a decision taken at a meeting of college directors chaired by Vice-Chancellor GK Choudhary, colleges would invite students who had already applied in response to the PU’s call for centralized admission and would admit students to the deserved. Details of vacant honorary positions would be made available to the institutions concerned.

Meanwhile, the online submission of admission applications to PU’s MA, MSc and MCom courses in the current academic session continues. The deadline for submitting forms is December 20. The deadline for submitting applications for admission to various self-funded postgraduate courses ended on December 7, and relevant departments are now preparing to hold entrance tests to select applicants for admission.
The dean said entrance tests would only take place in courses in which the number of applications received represents at least 150% of the total sanctioned seats. Otherwise, admission would be finalized on the sole basis of a personal interview.
