On the damaged school road, Ng said before the improvements, the affected area often had accumulations of standing water during and after heavy rains due to the uneven surface and poor drainage.

“Students and teachers had to take off their shoes to wade through the stagnant water to get to school,” she said.

Ng had posted on his social media platforms that although his office would be closed for the duration of the movement control order, residents could call 017-299 5975 or 017-382 0938 for information.

She also said her office was working with QHC Medical Center in Jalan USJ 9 / 5R to offer affordable RTK antigen testing for Covid-19, priced at RM70 for residents and those working in Subang Jaya.
