University of Goa offers BVoc in Electronics | Goa News

Panaji: Goa University has started the admission process for Bachelor of Vocation (BVoc) in Electronics and Instrumentation at the University Center for Instrumentation of Science (USIC), School of Physical and Applied Sciences (SPAS) for the year university 2022-23.
Course eligibility is Std XII in any recognized board stream.
The BVoc degree is offered through a professional program based on the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) and approved by the University Grant Commission (UGC), New Delhi. The NSQF is an initiative of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India aimed at developing the skills and knowledge of students in alignment with the needs of industry as part of the economic growth and social development of the country. .
The application for admission will be accepted only in online mode. Admission is purely based on a merit list prepared on the basis of a total of 40% marks from Std XII and 60% aptitude assessment/interview. Interested applicants can get the details from the University of Goa website
The course registration fee is Rs 600 for general category, Rs 300 for Goa SC/ST category candidate. Candidates with different abilities will be exempted from paying the application fee.
The deadline to register for the course is June 10.
The aptitude assessment/interview will take place on June 15 at the University Center for Scientific Instrumentation, University of Goa. The merit list will be declared on June 17 and the course will start from June 20.
